McDOWELL COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA

Work with the mountain.
Grow what comes next.

A working farm. A place to learn. A foundation for enterprise.

Mountain agriculture is our identity.

T&T Organics brings agricultural production, practical learning and business development together in Central Appalachia. Our starting point is the land itself: its forests, slopes, growing spaces and the knowledge of the people who call it home.

The farm’s production and demonstration areas include high tunnels, nursery development, beekeeping, mountain-ranged poultry, meat goats, row crops, fruit and berries, and forest medicinal plants. Activities vary with the season and the needs of the farm.

A diversified farm—not a single-crop story.

Poultry & livestock

Mountain-ranged poultry and meat goats connect daily animal care with the practical questions of feed, handling, production and market access.

Bees, fruit & berries

Beekeeping and perennial crops offer ways to explore connected enterprises across the landscape, from an apiary to an orchard.

Growing spaces & forests

High tunnels, nursery work, row crops and forest farming bring different approaches to production into the same learning environment.

From production to participation.

Our vision extends beyond the farm gate. Production needs a path to processing, aggregation, distribution and customers. Building those connections is part of the agricultural economy T&T is working to develop—not a claim that every planned facility is already operating.

The Demonstration, Research and Training environment makes the farm a place where people can see practices in context and explore the work behind an agricultural enterprise.
